Fishing For Tomorrow
Our Story
Fishing For Tomorrow was founded by four friends who love to fish. They realized that some of the best times they had had were spent on the water with family and friends. Fishing was a big part of their lives from an early age and it stayed with them to this day. They wanted to be able to give back to the community by allowing others that may not have the opportunity that they did to be able to experience the joy and pleasure brought by a day on the water catching fish.
The goal of Fishing For Tomorrow is two fold. The primary purpose is to take underprivileged children and teenagers fishing with their families. Our belief is that many children and teenagers could benefit from strong bonds and connections with their parents and siblings. Often these family bonds have been weakened due to parents being financially strapped and having to spend too much time working and not enough time with their children, by divorce, as well as a myriad of other reasons. Many children and teenagers are finding and forging new bonds with friends and acquaintances that are detrimental and in some cases criminal. Our goal is to try and stop the break within the family by allowing these children and teenagers an opportunity to enjoy a wholesome, fun, and exciting day with their parents and family members. They even get to take home their catch and some photos of their day on the water. We are firm believers that a day on the water catching fish can have an enormous positive impact on a family. As the old adage goes “families that fish together stay together.”

Our Vision, Our Mission
Our Goals
While taking families fishing is definitely our primary goal, we feel that we can benefit the local fishing guide community as well. We are a Texas organization, we are on the Gulf Coast, and donations will be used to fish families from the local community. We are not padding our pockets, donations go to take families fishing. Fishing guides are some of the hardest working people I have met. With inflation and the cost of fuel and bait continually rising we want to help our guides by paying their charter rate keeping them doing what they do best. The more families we fish the more guides we will need and we will add new guides as we grow. Fishing For Tomorrow is a tax exempt Corporation (501(c)(3). We run solely on donations. We hope you join us in our endeavor and thank you for your interest and compassion.
